CUSHLA

Originally hailing from the stunning landscapes of New Zealand, Cushla embarked on a new adventure in her 20s, making the vibrant leap to Australia. Settling in the picturesque town of Wangaratta, she embraced the role of a full-time mum to three amazing kids, nurturing their growth and creativity while building a loving home.

As her youngest prepared to take their first steps into school, Cushla seized the opportunity to return to her passion for visual arts, diving into her studies with enthusiasm. This newfound knowledge opened doors to a variety of fun and interesting roles before she found her current home at North East Care Connect (NECC), where she has proudly been a part of the fantastic team for three years.

Outside of work, Cushla’s passions revolve around culinary creations, as she loves to whip up delicious meals for family and friends. A green thumb at heart, she spends her leisure time tending to her garden. Friends, fashion, and animal cuddles also fill her days with joy. In the winter months, you might find her on the ski slopes, especially if she's not immersing herself in her meaningful work at NECC. And, of course, relaxing with a glass of wine at a local winery is one of her favourite pastimes

Cushla feels privileged to be part of the NECC team, where she can contribute to the community and continue her personal and professional journey while surrounded by wonderful people.
